Why do one or more of my targets sometimes beep continuously?
Our targets emit a short "beep" when they detect bright light, such as a hit from your laser pistol. When exposed to a constant bright light source, they may beep continuously.
Our targets are "self-calibrating", meaning they automatically adjust their sensitivity to ambient lighting when they're first turned on. If the front surface of a target is covered by your hand or facing towards a much darker area when turned on, it could initialize to a state that is too sensitive for the actual ambient lighting it's exposed to when put in place for use.
Always set targets in place facing the direction they'll be used, then turn the power switch ON while ensuring the target surface is fully exposed to the surrounding ambient lighting.
